Why Blacks Have Not Adapted As Much To The Western Diet
Phenylketonuria (PKU) is an inborn error of metabolism disease resulting from a marked reduction in the activity of the enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase. The phenylalanine hydroxylase enzyme activity in people with hyperphenylalaninemia is only about 5% of normal. This deficient enzyme hydroxylates or converts the amino acid phenylalanine to the amino acid tyrosine. The condition is quite common in that one in 50 carry a mutant gene.
Normal diets typically contain more than twice the amount of the essential amino acid phenylalanine, as well as many other nutrients, needed for protein synthesis. Phenylalanine is usually converted to tyrosine in the body, and, in this form any excess can be excreted from the body. Without the conversion of phenylalanine to tyrosine, phenylalanine builds up in the body which cause severe problems.
My thinking is that phenylalanine is converted to tyrosine only if there is a need for or deficit of tyrosine. As man's diet consistently provided more and more tyrosine, the need for conversion, i.e. need for phenylalanine hydroxylase, decreased over time.
Among the characteristics of people affected with PKU are light hair, eyes, and skin pigmentation.
This same principle, to a much lesser degree, may be the cause of the Caucasian race. Consumption of more and more protein results in enzymes that function less and less.
It is well known in the scientific community that Blacks have more testosterone than whites. It is also quite obvious that Blacks have more melanin in their skin, hair and eyes. Consequently, the enzymes that supply melanin to these tissues are more active in Blacks than in whites. Speaking of the hair, blacks have more kinks. More disulfide bonds in the hair of Blacks cause these kinks in the hair. Therefore, it is obvious that Blacks have more sulfur in the hair.
Sulfur is a component of insulin. Dr. Bennett Edwards of Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, has noticed that Blacks have more insulin than whites. He notes that even in Africa Blacks insulin levels are much higher. Again, more active enzymes produce more or stronger end products.
As a rule, primates such as man cannot swim. Not only are many Blacks unable to swim, many Blacks truly hate getting near deep water. On the other hand, whites practically float with little or no assistance. We have seen African Blacks such as Ethiopians consistently win marathons but we do not see Blacks at the Olympics taking top honors in swimming.
I say, "Eureka". The bodies of Blacks are denser than those of whites. Due to adaptation, the enzymes of whites are not as active as those of Blacks. So, when it comes to food, Blacks metabolize more and whites metabolize less.
If there are still any questions of the comparable strength between the enzymes of Blacks and those of whites just look at what happens when Blacks mate with members of the majority race. Due to the apparent strength of the enzymes of Blacks, the children arrive with dominant Black racial features.
I, therefore, have come to the conclusion that Caucasians have less problems with the Western diet because they have adapted so much that they use less and less of the nutrients (fuel, minerals, vitamins, etc.) from it. The enzymes of Blacks are stronger and the immune systems of Blacks are stronger. Consequently, problems with the Western diet appear more profound in Blacks, or any other ethnic group because of overreaction of their bodies.
